Another employee of the same company was found dead at home after an unauthorized absence, suspected to be a case of suicide.
According to the Seocho Police Station in Seoul on the 20th, at around 2 p.m. on the 18th, two male and female employees at a company in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, collapsed after drinking water from a bottled water container placed on the office desk.
The employees mentioned that the water tasted strange before losing consciousness. The male employee is still hospitalized in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness. It is known that a similar incident occurred at this company's office two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, on the same day, an employee working at the same company was found dead at home after an unauthorized absence. The police, finding no signs of homicide regarding the absent employee, suspect it to be a case of suicide.
The police have sent the bottled water that the employees drank to the National Forensic Service for drug testing and are conducting investigations targeting the company employees.
