Dongshin University Operates 'Korean-Style Basic Resuscitation Training Course'

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dongshin University Career Development Center announced on the 18th that it conducted the '2021 Korean Basic Life Support (KBLS-Provider) Certification Course for Healthcare Professionals' on the 16th for 60 third- and fourth-year nursing students.
The students learned cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency treatment in emergency situations from about 10 external professional instructors, enhancing their life-saving response skills.
Following theoretical and practical training on adult, child, and pediatric CPR through video materials, the students completed the Korean Basic Life Support certification course after written and practical evaluations.
An Min-joo, head of the Dongshin University Career Development Center, said, “The need for emergency treatment education, including CPR, is gradually increasing,” and added, “This is essential safety education for real life and is expected to become a fundamental career skill for employment.”
