Gyeonggi Office of Education to Recruit 2,000 Secondary School Teachers and Others Next Year
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will select 2,000 middle school teachers next year.
On the 15th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced the "2022 Academic Year Gyeonggi-do Middle School Teacher Health, Librarian, Professional Counselor, Nutrition, and Special (Middle) School Teacher Appointment Candidate Selection Competitive Examination Implementation Plan."
The number of recruits, including regional divisions and the number of disabled recruits, is ▲ 1,210 middle school teachers ▲ 190 health teachers ▲ 34 librarian teachers ▲ 210 professional counseling teachers ▲ 134 nutrition teachers ▲ 222 special (middle) school teachers.
In addition, 2 teachers for national special (middle) schools and 17 middle school teachers commissioned by private schools will also be selected.
Applications will be accepted from the 25th to the 29th of this month through the Gyeonggi Office of Education's NAIS faculty online recruitment website.
The appointment candidate screening consists of a first exam composed of education theory, major subjects, and Korean history (replaced by the Korean History Proficiency Test), selecting 1.5 times the number of recruits.
Then, for those who pass the first exam, the second exam includes a teaching ability evaluation, an in-depth interview on teaching aptitude, and a practical test (applicable only to music, art, and physical education subjects) to finalize the successful candidates.
The first exam will be held on the 27th of next month, and the second exam will be conducted by recruitment field from January 25 to 26 of next year.
Starting this year, the private school teacher commissioned selection exam will be expanded to include the second exam.
