Ministry of Unification: "Report on North Korean Military Factory 'Considering Power Cooperation' Is Groundless"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The government conducted a research project on power cooperation measures with North Korea just before the Hanoi North Korea-U.S. summit, and the Ministry of Unification has denied reports that the research report included content on power cooperation with North Korean military factories, calling them "groundless."
On the 14th, the Ministry of Unification issued a rebuttal statement, saying, "The report cited in the news was a research project result report prepared solely as a reference material to understand the current status of North Korea's electric power industry."
