Seoul's Gangseo-gu (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) officially launched the Gangseo-gu Office KakaoTalk channel on the 14th and began full-scale operation.

The purpose is to provide fast and convenient customized district administration information services by utilizing the KakaoTalk channel, which has a diverse user base and high accessibility.

Through the KakaoTalk channel, the district delivers residents' interests covering the entire district administration, including festivals, events, performances, lifestyle information, culture, and tourism. In particular, by using card news, videos, images, and other mobile-optimized content, it ensures that all residents can conveniently use the service.

The channel also allows easy one-click access to the district's representative promotional media such as 'Gangseo Kkachi News,' the 'official website,' and the 'official district Facebook.' The channel's message sending function enables rapid information delivery about district news.

To subscribe to the channel, enter 'Seoul Gangseo-gu Office' in the KakaoTalk top search bar and add the channel. You can receive district news without any separate procedures such as membership registration.

A district official said, "We have strengthened mobile services to deliver district news faster and more conveniently," adding, "We will continue to enhance communication capabilities so that residents can receive news necessary for Gangseo life in a timely manner."

To commemorate the launch of the KakaoTalk channel, the district is also holding a free distribution event of the district's representative character 'Saeromi' emoticons. The emoticons will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to 25,000 KakaoTalk channel subscribers starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, the 14th.
