In March, Jinju City commissioned a service to set target companies and derive strategies for corporate attraction through a professional analysis of the local industrial and investment environment.
This final report meeting included the selection of candidate companies for attraction, industrial promotion strategies, and plans for creating an industrial ecosystem based on the analysis results of location competitiveness and improvement measures. In particular, it included analysis results on the trends of the future promising industry, UAM (Urban Air Mobility) industry.
Since 2019, Jinju City has established a corporate attraction team and has been actively attracting companies, including securing the KAI Rotary Wing Flight Center, the only complete aircraft manufacturing company in Korea, recently.
Additionally, in line with the government's K-UAM roadmap announced last year, the city is striving to secure a leading position in the aerospace industry, a regional strategic industry, and the UAM industry.
