Announcement of the 2022 Plan for Aged Apartment Maintenance Support Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province is promoting the '2022 Aged Apartment Maintenance Support Project.'
On the 7th, Namyangju City announced the related plan and stated, "In 2022, a budget of 660 million KRW has been allocated to support 33 complexes in the region."
This project is a policy that supports up to 20 million KRW for complexes that intend to carry out repairs such as rooftop waterproofing, road repaving, and CCTV replacement within apartment complexes that have been in use for more than 10 years after inspection, according to the Housing Act.
The applicable apartment complexes must bear at least 10% of the total project cost themselves, and before applying, they must obtain approval from the residents' representative meeting (for small-scale apartment complexes, consent from at least two-thirds of the residents is required).
