At the 6th debate of the People Power Party presidential primary held on the 5th, Ha asked Hong, "Among your real estate pledges, there is one that allows only two houses per household and restricts three or more houses. Does that mean households that do not convert to rental corporations will have their properties confiscated?"
In response, Hong said, "If ownership prohibition is enacted by law, the state will forcibly sell the properties," adding, "If a law is enacted to restrict up to two houses per household until the real estate market stabilizes to a certain level, the state will forcibly sell properties exceeding two houses."
Ha then pointed out, "Isn't that a communist policy?" Hong replied, "That cannot be called communism," explaining, "Because the real estate market has skyrocketed so much, such proposals are coming out."
Ha responded, "I see a new side of candidate Hong," and shot back, "You used to criticize communists, but now you yourself are acting like one."
