Sancheong Herbal Medicine Festival Achieves High Completion Rate... Sales Performance Increases by 82% Compared to Last Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong Herbal Medicine and Herb Festival, held in the format of a 'festival in my hand to meet in the living room,' was evaluated to have enhanced its completeness by introducing various online programs.
According to Sancheong-gun on the 5th, the 21st Online Sancheong Herbal Medicine and Herb Festival, held throughout September, concluded with great achievements not only in sales performance but also in promoting local agricultural specialties.
The biggest achievement was that online sales of agricultural specialties through the San-encheong Shopping Mall directly managed by Sancheong-gun increased by about 82% compared to last year. Last year's online sales were about 400 million KRW, and this year reached 729 million KRW.
This is the result of diversifying channels such as festival promotions conducted on the San-encheong Shopping Mall, linked discounts through the Post Office Shopping Mall, and live commerce online sales.
More encouraging than the sales performance is that the number of new members registered on the San-encheong Shopping Mall in September reached about 4,000, and the number of purchasers was about 10,000. The festival committee and the county evaluate that the online sales channels have played a significant role in raising the status and promoting Sancheong agricultural specialties.
