The initial shipment for export was 13 tons, and it is planned to export 550 tons worth approximately 1.5 billion KRW in the future.
The high-quality premium Sinan pears have been exported to Los Angeles and California, USA since 1999, capturing the taste of people worldwide, exporting 200 to 600 tons annually, playing a significant role as a breadwinner for pear-producing farms.
This year, Sinan County enhanced its external image and secured competitiveness in overseas markets by thoroughly sorting and supporting pear blemish prevention facilities with a state-of-the-art management system to reduce damage caused by pear blemishes, a strategic export item.
