Start of National Assembly Audit Schedule for Korea's Top 3 Pension Funds and Major Mutual Aid Associations
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Starting from the 5th, the National Assembly audit schedule targeting the three major domestic pension funds and key mutual aid associations, as well as major institutional investors, will commence.
First, the audits for the National Pension Service along with the two other major pension funds, the Private School Teachers’ Pension and the Government Employees Pension Service, are scheduled for the 5th and 8th, respectively.
On the 13th, the National Assembly’s Health and Welfare Committee will conduct an audit of the National Pension Service. On the same day, the audit of the sovereign wealth fund Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) will be held by the National Assembly’s Strategy and Finance Committee.
Audits of mutual aid associations will also be conducted. The Teachers’ Mutual Aid Association audit is scheduled for the 5th. Additionally, on the 15th, audits for the Military Mutual Aid Association (National Defense Committee) and the Construction Workers’ Mutual Aid Association (Environment and Labor Committee) will take place, followed by the Science and Technology Professionals’ Mutual Aid Association audit on the 18th (Science, Technology, Information and Communications Committee).
