Chonnam National University Launches 'Immersive Class Design Expert Training' Program

According to Chonnam National University on the 26th, the University Education Innovation Headquarters (Head Cha Seong-hyun) and the Education Issues Research Institute (Director Ryu Ji-heon) began the "Immersive Class Design Expert Training Course" on the 17th for about 20 professors who wish to conduct metaverse classes, where they learn theoretical courses for the educational use of the metaverse.
The Education Issues Research Institute plans to enhance professors' immersive teaching capabilities through continuous support for metaverse classes and devise class designs that satisfy both professors and students to maximize learning effectiveness.
Additionally, when operating classes using the metaverse, they will provide participation benefits such as technical support, awarding scores for the development of teaching methods in faculty performance evaluations, and support for purchasing operational materials, aiming to expand metaverse classes.
