Daegu University and Yeungnam University Members Learn Baking and Donate 200 Servings to Gyeongsan Health Center
Members of the Gyeongsan-si University 4-H Club are making cookies by hand while receiving baking education on the 25th to support COVID-19 medical staff.

The snacks gifted that day, including cookies, brownies, and Roticaffe muffins, were made by University 4-H members through baking education at the Gyeongsan City Agricultural Technology Center. A total of 200 servings were delivered to the medical staff and employees of the Gyeongsan City Health Center who have been working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The University 4-H Federation is a 4-H organization composed of university student members aged 19 to 29.
It carries out task learning and educational events through rural volunteer work with the goal of promoting urban-rural exchange experiences and expanding international exchange. In Gyeongsan, about 70 members from two University 4-H groups, including Daegu University and Yeungnam University, are active.
Shin Hye-won, president of the national federation and a student in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Yeungnam University, said, "Although it is a small gesture, we express our support to the medical staff who are struggling due to COVID-19 with cookies we made ourselves."

Lee Jung-woo, director of the Gyeongsan City Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I hope the support from the University 4-H members will be a source of strength to the medical staff who are dedicating themselves during these exhausting times, and that the practice of the 4-H spirit will invigorate the local community."
