Mujugun Distributes Droplet-Blocking Partitions to Restaurants
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Muju-gun announced on the 24th that it will support droplet-blocking partitions for general restaurants in the area until the end of September to respond to COVID-19 and practice a safe food culture.
The support targets 30 restaurants with an indoor density of 30㎡ or less, providing a total of 100 droplet-blocking partitions.
This support is based on the judgment that fundamental social distancing within restaurants is necessary, as COVID-19 infections are expected to continue for a long time despite vaccination.
Muju-gun excluded establishments that already have partitions installed, round tables, temporary closures, or where table distancing is possible.
Previously, from last year to the present, Muju-gun has assigned safe call numbers to restaurants in the area and supported major quarantine supplies such as disinfectants, hand sanitizers, masks, shared serving utensils, and spoon sterilizers.
