Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, Completes 90% Payment of Mutual Benefit National Support Fund
Apply by October 29, use at local love gift certificate merchants until December 31
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam announced on the 23rd that 90% (272,000 people) of the recipients of the COVID-19 National Support Fund have applied and 68 billion KRW has been paid.
By payment method, about 171,000 people (56.8%) received the support fund via credit/debit cards, about 28,000 people (9.3%) received it through Jinju Sarang Gift Certificates (mobile), and last week, about 73,000 people (24.3%) received the support fund via prepaid cards through offline applications.
The National Support Fund application deadline is October 29. If adjustments or changes are needed for households, household members, or health insurance premiums, appeals can be made by visiting the local town or township office or the district administrative welfare center by November 12, or online through the National Sinmungo.
So far, about 1,100 appeals have been received, with household number adjustments accounting for 630 cases (57.3%), the highest, and health insurance premium adjustments accounting for 470 cases (42.7%).
The support fund can be used at local Sarang Gift Certificate affiliated stores within the registered address area, and unused funds will be reclaimed if not used by the end of the year.
