24 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Gangwon... 137 Infections Over Four Days of Chuseok Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] On the 21st, 24 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the Gangwon region, resulting in a total of 137 infections over the four-day Chuseok holiday.
According to Gangwon Province health authorities, as of 3 PM on the day, the confirmed cases were 5 in Wonju, 4 in Yanggu, 3 each in Yangyang and Taebaek, 2 each in Chuncheon, Hoengseong, and Inje, and 1 each in Sokcho, Yeongwol, and Goseong, totaling 24 cases.
Notably, with one additional case each in Inje and Goseong near Sokcho, the number of infections linked to the Sokcho entertainment district has risen to 39.
