Arimgol Agricultural Cooperative Corporation Opens First Shine Muscat Export Route to Singapore This Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 17th that it held the first Shine Muscat export shipment ceremony of the year on the 16th at the Northwest Gyeongnam Hub Mountain Distribution Center (APC).
Eleven officials attended the event, including the Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, the Chairman of the Geochang Apple Horticultural Cooperative, the Representative of Arimgol Farming Association, and Gyeongnam Trade.
The Geochang Apple Horticultural Cooperative has been exporting Shine Muscat produced by Arimgol Farming Association through the export company Gyeongnam Trade since 2018. The quantity exported this time is about 260 boxes of Shine Muscat, all of which will be exported to Singapore.
Starting with the export of 5 tons of Shine Muscat to Vietnam in 2018, Geochang-gun confirmed its popularity in overseas markets by exporting 5 tons to Vietnam in 2019 and 6 tons to Vietnam and Singapore last year.
