[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Steel products donated by Dongkuk Steel are exhibited at the National Mineral Information Center under the Korea Mineral Resources Corporation, located in Bukpyeong-myeon, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do.
Dongkuk Steel donated a total of 12 steel product samples to the National Mineral Information Center, including H-beams and rebar used for construction, thick plates used in shipbuilding, and color steel sheets used as materials for home appliances such as TVs and refrigerators. The donated samples are permanently exhibited as examples explaining the usefulness of steel metal extracted from ore.
The National Mineral Information Center displays mineral resources excavated domestically, such as ores collected from mines, and conducts related research, development, and education.
This donation of steel samples was made in response to the National Mineral Information Center's proposal to showcase everything from natural minerals to steel products beneficial in daily life, which Dongkuk Steel agreed to.
