[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Samhwa Paint Industrial conducted a ‘Parents’ Chuseok Gift Delivery’ event targeting expatriates at its overseas subsidiaries in celebration of Chuseok.
On the 15th, Samhwa Paint sent health supplements for immune enhancement and message cards to the parents of a total of 31 expatriates stationed at overseas subsidiaries in China, Vietnam, India, and other countries.
Samhwa Paint planned this event for overseas expatriates who are working under difficult circumstances due to COVID-19 and are unable to visit Korea before Chuseok because of strict entry and exit restrictions.
Jinsu Oh, CEO of Samhwa Paint, stated in a letter enclosed with the gifts, "On behalf of the employees working hard for the company’s development in distant foreign lands, we send a gift of heart for Chuseok," adding, "We understand the worry of sending your children away during these difficult times, but the Samhwa Paint family will wholeheartedly support them so they can fully demonstrate their capabilities."
In addition to this event, Samhwa Paint is planning various activities to boost employee morale. Earlier this year, surprise appreciation gifts were sent to the parents of new employees, and in July, the company held the ‘Samhwa Sales Rally’ to gather new business ideas from sales staff.
