According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul city, and other local governments, a total of 1,625 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed nationwide from 0:00 to 18:00 on the 15th. This is 71 more than the 1,554 cases recorded at the same time the previous day.
By region, 1,289 cases were reported in the metropolitan area, and 336 cases in non-metropolitan areas. By city and province, the numbers are as follows: Seoul 605, Gyeonggi 564, Incheon 120, Busan 56, Chungnam 47, Daegu 44, Gyeongbuk 33, Chungbuk 30, Gyeongnam 28, Gangwon 25, Daejeon 19, Ulsan 16, Jeonbuk 13, Jeju 11, Gwangju 7, Jeonnam 6, and Sejong 1.
