This regular upgrade will be carried out based on field surveys conducted from May to July this year. Updates will be made to highway, local, and general road information, including changes to national roads in 20 cities, counties, and districts nationwide. A total of 43 road information updates will be added, including the construction of the World Cup Bridge, the opening of the underground passage on the Western Arterial Road, and the opening of Jisan IC.
In addition, newly opened or changed major Points of Interest (POI), such as Paraspara Seoul, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, and Uiwang Lotte Premium Outlets Time Villas, as well as major aerial maps of three regions?Capital area, Chungcheong area, and Jeonbuk area?will be newly updated. Furthermore, updated information on gas stations, charging stations, popular restaurants, and franchise eateries nationwide will be provided, along with seasonally recommended theme information for autumn.
Thinkware has been continuously collecting and analyzing data through field surveys to quickly update changing road information nationwide. The company added that it provides road information and secures map data for regular electronic map upgrades six times a year, every two months, maintaining quality.
