Gyeonggi Office of Education to Recruit 1,934 Kindergarten and Elementary School Teachers... Application Period October 4-8
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is selecting 1,934 teachers for kindergartens, elementary schools, and special schools (kindergarten and elementary school teachers).
The Gyeonggi Office of Education announced on the 15th through its website the 2022 appointment candidate selection plan to recruit a total of 1,934 teachers, including 108 kindergarten teachers, 1,493 elementary school teachers (including 15 regionally divided recruits), 128 special (kindergarten) teachers, and 205 special (elementary) teachers.
The number of recruits this time includes 141 positions for persons with disabilities.
Additionally, 6 teachers for the national special (elementary) school and 1 special (elementary) teacher commissioned for selection by private schools will be recruited separately.
Applications can be submitted from the 4th to the 8th of next month through the Gyeonggi Office of Education's NAIS online recruitment website for teaching staff.
The appointment candidate screening consists of a first test including teaching essay, curriculum, and Korean history (replaced by the Korean History Proficiency Test), selecting 1.5 times the number of recruits.
Then, for those who pass the first test, the second test includes an in-depth interview on teaching aptitude, teaching ability evaluation, and English evaluation (applicable only to elementary), to finalize the successful candidates.
The first test will be held on November 13, and the second test will be from January 12 to 14 next year.
