7 Organizations and Institutions Donate Goods Worth Approximately 70 Million Won

On the 15th, Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced that seven organizations and institutions in the area had donated goods worth a total of about 70 million won by the 13th.
According to the county, starting with 10 heating boilers worth 6 million won from the Hampyeong Rotary Club, donations included ▲KF94 masks worth 3 million won from Hampyeong Public Nursing Hospital ▲500 bags (10kg each) of newly harvested rice worth 20 million won from Cheonjisa in Daedong-myeon ▲260 packs (2kg each) of pork worth 5 million won from the Hampyeong branch of the Korea Pork Producers Association ▲200 pieces of bread worth 2 million won from Kumho Agricultural Corporation ▲400 sets of eel extract and 160 sets of red ginseng extract worth 33 million won from Happy People Co., Ltd. - Laoi Economy.
The goods will be delivered along with seaweed, ramen, and daily necessities sets prepared by the county before the Chuseok holiday to low-income vulnerable groups and social welfare facilities in the area.
County Governor Lee Sang-ik expressed, “I am grateful to those who extended warm hands to vulnerable groups in the area even during the difficult times of COVID-19,” and added, “We will ensure that the donated goods are properly delivered so that neighbors in need can have a warm Chuseok holiday.”
