Nikon Announces Compact Lightweight Prime Lens 'NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Optical equipment specialist Nikon announced on the 14th the compact and lightweight prime lens "NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2" for full-frame mirrorless cameras equipped with the Z mount.
The NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 is a standard prime lens that allows easy enjoyment of background blur effects with its maximum aperture. It is a small product with a total length of approximately 45.5mm and a weight of about 170g, supporting the ideal 40mm standard focal length for shooting portraits and snapshots in various scenes.
Featuring a bright aperture and 9 aperture blades, it creates beautiful background blur effects, making everyday moments and portrait photos impressively expressive. Nikon explained, "With excellent AF (autofocus), dust and drip-proof design, it is suitable for a wide range of Z series users from amateur photographers to mirrorless beginners."
