On the 10th, the Korea Sexual Crime False Accusation Counseling Center posted a report titled "A case where a woman falsely reported a male disabled person as a sexual harasser because he sat in a seat reserved for pregnant women" on their Facebook page.
According to the post, in April, Mr. A, a man with pituitary tumor causing hypotension and arrhythmia, sat in a subway seat reserved for pregnant women. It was reported that there were no available seats in the disabled and elderly seats at that time.
A woman, Ms. B, who witnessed this, cursed saying "You little brat" and insulted him with remarks like "This is not a seat for men. You're unlucky." Eventually, Mr. A stood up, but Ms. B reported him to the police.
In response, Mr. A turned on the camera recording function, covering the lens, to leave evidence and recorded the situation. However, Ms. B used this as grounds to tell the police that "(Mr. A) was secretly filming here," and claimed "Mr. A cursed and forcefully grabbed the coat beside her arm, sexually harassing her."
However, witnesses testified that there was no cursing or physical contact between Mr. A and Ms. B.
Also, the platform's closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage did not show any scenes that would support the allegations of physical contact, so the police concluded there was insufficient evidence and decided not to prosecute Mr. A.

Regarding this, the center explained, "Despite Mr. A, a disabled man, being subjected to insulting language from Ms. B simply because he sat in a seat reserved for pregnant women, Ms. B instead reported Mr. A to the police claiming she was insulted."
