Honam University, Recruitment of 4th Round Startup Support Candidates for 2021 Academic Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Honam University (President Park Sang-chul) announced on the 3rd that it will launch the 4th startup support program for the 2021 academic year to practically assist current students who wish to start their own businesses.
This program, hosted by the Honam University LINC+ Project Group (Director Yang Seung-hak) and organized by the Startup Education Center (Center Director Kim Sung-soo), is targeted at current students who have startup items recommended by their advising professors.
After document screening (October 4?8) and presentation evaluation (October 13?17), startup support funds of up to 8 million KRW (with funding varying depending on the item) will be provided.
Additionally, when sales occur, various benefits will be given, including preferential admission to the Honam University Startup Incubation Center, support for patent application and registration fees, as well as participation in domestic and international training, practical and marketing education.
Those wishing to participate in the program can download the application form from the Academic Administration Notice section of the Honam University Integrated Information System, fill it out, and submit it in person by September 30 to the Startup Education Center, 1st floor of Sangji Building (Building 3), Startup Support Group (inquiries: 940-5623). However, those who have previously received startup support or are entrepreneurs before the 2021 academic year are excluded from eligibility, and applicants must be able to maintain their business for at least one year after registering their business (by February 2022).
