Hana Bank Launches 'Financial Education Content Broadcast' On Air in the Metaverse
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 2nd that it conducted customized financial education content broadcasts for the MZ generation (Millennials and Generation Z) through a metaverse platform.
The financial education content is produced in a total of three episodes, covering the topics ▲First Car Purchase Knowledge ▲Preview of Earned Income and Tax-saving Methods ▲Housing Support Benefits for Burini (Real Estate + Children). Avatar bankers delivered financial information to the MZ generation in an engaging way through the metaverse platform and provided participants with opportunities to freely communicate using their own avatars.
The episode “First Car Purchase Knowledge,” broadcast at 7 PM on the 25th of last month, featured avatar bankers sharing various information related to first car purchase costs and insurance fees, offering participants various benefits such as coffee coupons and prizes. The episode “Preview of Earned Income and Tax-saving Methods,” aired at the same time on the 26th, featured a Hana Bank tax expert appearing as a friendly avatar to explain tax-saving methods related to earned income and stock investments. During the Q&A session, MZ generation participants exchanged various questions and answers using voice and chat.
The content scheduled to be broadcast at 3 PM on the same day is themed “Housing Support Benefits for Burini,” where avatar bankers will provide information about the Youth Preferential Housing Subscription Savings product and Seoul city housing support policies, continuing free communication with participants.
