View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Im Jae-su) will conduct a national safety inspection in the water leisure sector targeting three water leisure business sites within its jurisdiction until the 24th.
According to Mokpo Maritime Police on the 1st, this national safety inspection will involve not only experts from related fields such as the maritime police, local governments, and the Korea Maritime Safety Authority (KOMSA), but also university professors, water leisure enthusiasts, and the general public to conduct a thorough inspection from the public’s perspective.
The main inspection items include the safety of water leisure business facility structures, compliance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, adequacy of lifesaving equipment, suitability of lifesaving personnel deployment and qualification standards, and the identification of legal and institutional improvement tasks including unreasonable systems and practices.
