View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Seoul city announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted as 420 over 21 hours from 0:00 to 21:00 on Sunday the 29th.
Compared to the same time frame, this is 92 fewer than the 512 cases on the previous day (28th) and 36 more than the 384 cases on last Sunday (22nd). The total number of cases for the entire day was 517 on the 28th and 388 on the 22nd.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul surged to 660 on the 10th of this month, then generally recorded in the 500s on weekdays and 300-400s on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). On the 24th, the record was broken with the highest number ever at 677 cases. After that, the number remained in the 500s for four consecutive days until the 28th.
As of 21:00 on the 29th, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 78,875.
