Ministry of National Defense: "No Truth to 'No-Mask Experiment' Ordered by the President"
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] The Ministry of National Defense has refuted claims that "the president ordered biological experiments on soldiers, and the Ministry of National Defense is pushing forward with experiments without consulting the Disease Control Agency."
On the 27th, the Ministry of National Defense issued a statement saying, "Using the excessive term 'biological experiments' severely damages the honor of our military and the soldiers who are fulfilling their noble military duties."
The Ministry of National Defense appears to have expressed strong displeasure over the fact that some easing of quarantine guidelines has not been finalized and that it was described as an "experiment."
In the statement, the Ministry said, "As previously announced by the Ministry of National Defense, the partial easing of quarantine guidelines has not been finalized, and decisions will be made through close consultations between the Ministry of National Defense and health authorities. The units for pilot application have also not been finalized, and the target units will be selected after the easing measures are decided."
