Moon appoints Kang Kwon-chan and Kim Jeong-hoe as Blue House Secretary for Citizen Participation and New Southern Policy Secretary
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in made personnel changes at the secretary level in the Blue House on the 24th.
Kang Kwon-chan, Senior Administrative Officer of the Planning Secretary Office, was appointed as Secretary for Citizen Participation; Kim Jeong-hoe, Director of the Trade Negotiation Office at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, was appointed as Secretary for New Southern and New Northern Policies; and Kim Yi-tak, Standing Member of the Central Land Acquisition Committee at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, was appointed as Secretary for Land and Transport.
Park Kyung-mi, Blue House spokesperson, stated, "The new secretaries are individuals who have accumulated experience and expertise within the Blue House and government ministries. They have a good understanding of the government's national philosophy and have been involved in identifying and handling key issues in their respective fields. They will diligently fulfill the roles and responsibilities assigned to each secretary office going forward."
