Gyeonggi-do, University Clubs-Childcare Center Linkage Project
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will partner with 10 university childcare department clubs to provide various cultural programs such as puppet shows and musicals non-face-to-face at daycare centers in the province starting next month.
The Gyeonggi Childcare Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 24th that it will recruit daycare centers in the province to participate in the "University Club-Daycare Center Linkage Project" until next month.
The core of this project is to connect more than 40 daycare centers in the province non-face-to-face with 10 childcare-related university clubs located in southern Gyeonggi, such as "Nolmaemadang" of Suwon Women's University and "I&I" of Hyupsung University.
Participating university students will gain childcare field experience, and infants and toddlers at daycare centers will have opportunities for various cultural experiences.
The clubs will conduct cultural activities they have prepared, such as puppet shows and musicals, for the applying daycare centers from next month until November.
However, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the program will be conducted non-face-to-face using a real-time online platform, and face-to-face sessions will be combined when social distancing measures are eased.
Daycare centers wishing to apply can check the schedule on the Gyeonggi Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website and apply.
