As of the first recruitment on the 17th, applications for 2 units of 51㎡ and 6 units of 41㎡ were completed, and the 12 units of 41㎡ will be accepted on-site at the Construction Department of the county office on the 26th.
The rural public rental housing project in Gangjin-gun, promoted as a Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs public contest project, started construction in October last year with an investment of 2.3 billion KRW from the county budget. It is being developed on a site of 4,707㎡ at 295, Gyochon-ri, Gangjin-eup, consisting of 20 detached house-type units (2 units of 51㎡ and 18 units of 41㎡), aiming for occupancy in October this year.
The application conditions require applicants to be homeless residents aged 65 or older living in Gangjin. For more details, refer to the recruitment announcement on the Gangjin-gun website or contact the nearest eup/myeon office or the Construction Department of the county office.
A county official stated, “We are actively promoting so that many qualified residents can apply, and we will strive to improve the quality of life for rural residents by providing a stable living environment in response to rural aging.”
