Gwangju Seo-gu to Conduct 'Library Policy Survey' Until the 10th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 18th that it will conduct an online survey until the 10th of next month to diagnose library policies in the With-COVID era.
Through this survey, Seo-gu aims to understand library usage satisfaction and opinions by category, including ▲library usage status ▲reading and cultural program usage ▲library services in the With-COVID era ▲collection of residents' opinions, and plans to use the data as basic materials for improving library operations and policy establishment.
Additionally, by utilizing big data analysis such as citizens' book loan status and electronic library usage, Seo-gu seeks to develop customized reading promotion services based on scientific evidence and improve information services.
A Seo-gu official stated, “We intend to actively collect citizens' opinions on library operations to create a library that grows together with the citizens, so we ask for the active participation of all citizens.”
Participation in the survey is possible through the QR code on the notice and survey promotional materials on the Seo-gu Integrated Library website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Seo-gu Library Division.
