Another COVID-19 Cluster Infection at Nonsan Army Training Center... 11 Confirmed Cases (Comprehensive)

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] A COVID-19 cluster infection has occurred at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam. This comes one month after a cumulative total of 123 confirmed cases were identified at the Nonsan Training Center from the 7th to the 25th of last month.
According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 18th, as of 10 a.m. that day, 11 trainees at the Army Training Center tested positive for COVID-19.
These individuals entered the training center on the 28th of last month, tested negative in two rounds of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, and were released from cohort isolation starting on the 10th of this month, after which they participated in outdoor training.
On the 16th, one trainee showed COVID-19 symptoms and underwent a rapid antigen test, which returned a negative result; however, a retest the following day confirmed a positive diagnosis.
