Hamyang-gun Provides Additional National Support Fund of 100,000 Won per Person for Low-Income Groups
Basic Livelihood Security Recipients, Statutory Second-Lowest Income Bracket, Childcare Support for Statutory Single-Parent Families, etc.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, plans to provide an additional "Low-Income National Support Fund" of 100,000 KRW per person to alleviate the financial burden of low-income households struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The recipients are basic livelihood security recipients, legally designated second-lowest income groups, and legally designated single-parent families receiving child-rearing support as of August, who have residency in the county. The payment will be made once to the representative account of one person per beneficiary household.
Households receiving monthly welfare benefits such as basic livelihood security recipients will receive the payment in a lump sum on the 24th through their welfare benefit accounts without a separate application.
Households in the second-lowest income group without account information can apply by visiting the local town or township office in charge of their address. After verifying account information, payments will be made on an ongoing basis until the 15th of next month.
