Namwon-si 'Resource Circulation Keeper Training Course' Trainee Recruitment

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Namwon City, Jeonbuk (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 12th that the Community Support Center is recruiting trainees for the "Resource Circulation Keeper Training Course" to promote local resource and energy circulation.

This course is designed not only to train environmental activists who help with small practices to protect the environment in daily life but also to encourage citizens interested in resource circulation to form communities and take greater interest in environmental issues.

The Resource Circulation Keeper Training Course will be conducted over a total of five sessions, covering ▲Theory (resource circulation and waste separation) ▲Practice (waste separation and upcycling crafts) ▲Field trips (Namwon City waste treatment facilities and environmental business office).

This training will be held every Tuesday from the 24th of this month to the 28th of next month, and applications can be submitted at the Namwon City Community Support Center by the 20th.

The Namwon City Community Support Center plans to support graduates of this training course next year to practice resource circulation independently in their village communities.

Through resident proposal projects, the center will continuously discover and support communities interested in the environment and carry out various projects to encourage active citizen participation in protecting the environment.

Mayor Lee Hwan-joo said, "In the global climate crisis situation, citizens' efforts to protect the environment in daily life are urgently needed," adding, "We ask for interest in environmental communities and this training course so that various practices to protect the natural environment can become stepping stones to save the Earth."
