Imsil Peaches, Public Officials' SNS Activity Brings Significant Promotional Effect
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] ImsilN Peaches, a representative premium agricultural product of Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, are gaining significant promotional effects thanks to the active SNS activities of rookie public officials.
According to the county on the 9th, SNS videos were produced in line with the shipping season of ImsilN Peaches and uploaded on ImsilN TV’s YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
From the 21st of last month until now, the videos have garnered 52,000 views through SNS, with over 1,100 comments and likes, showing a strong response.
The videos were created to raise brand awareness of ImsilN Peaches, which boast high sugar content, rich juice, and the best taste and quality, aiming to target consumers nationwide as the top premium peaches in the country.
The videos feature rookie public officials, including Park Junseong (Construction Department), well known as the public official promoter ‘Junmyeodeunda’ or ‘Jjuni Oppa,’ and Choi Seongyu (Technology Promotion Department), who boasts a handsome appearance that makes one wonder if he is a celebrity rather than a public official.
ImsilN Peaches are premium peaches certified by GAP (Good Agricultural Practices), establishing a safety management system from production to sales, ensuring healthy and high-quality peaches.
Due to the region’s large temperature difference between day and night, the peaches have high sugar content, tender flesh, and abundant juice, earning recognition from consumers for their excellent taste and quality.
This year, especially, aggressive marketing boasting the high quality of ImsilN Peaches and active promotion both online and offline, including SNS, are expected to result in high sales.
To further maximize the promotional effect of ImsilN Peaches, the county held an SNS subscriber event titled ‘Can’t Resist ImsilN Peaches!’ through the county SNS ‘ImsilN TV’ until the 6th.
Participants who subscribe to ImsilN TV, like the videos, and submit quiz answers with certification shots were entered into a draw where 50 winners were selected to receive a box of premium ImsilN Peaches (2.5 kg).
Following last year’s ‘Dolswe,’ the newly formed rookie public officials serving as the county’s SNS promotional ambassadors actively appear in promotional videos for famous local tourist spots, restaurants, stylish places, and agricultural specialty products.
Thanks to the efforts of these public officials, the county’s external image has greatly improved this year through events such as the ImsilN Cheese Sausage Lunar New Year special sale, support for flower farms, and promotion of hidden tourist attractions during COVID-19.
County Governor Shim Min said, “We ask for much interest and participation in the county SNS, which makes county administration friendly and easy to understand,” adding, “We will continue to strive to quickly deliver useful information and pleasant news to residents through various channels and communicate together.”
