Sinan-gun to Provide Additional 100,000 Won National Support Fund per Low-Income Individual
[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Sinan County (County Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 6th that it will provide an additional national support fund of 100,000 won per person to help low-income groups struggling with daily life due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The support targets 3,804 people including basic livelihood security recipients, legally designated lower-income groups, and single-parent families, and will be paid in cash separately from the government's 5th disaster relief fund, which supports citizens with income below 88% of the national coexistence support fund.
The selection criteria for recipients is those who held qualifications before August 31, 2021, and those who acquire qualifications after the payment date on the 24th will be paid in mid-September.
Recipients will be paid on the 24th according to the number of household members into the welfare benefit accounts currently receiving payments without a separate application, while lower-income groups not receiving welfare benefits must apply at their local eup/myeon office.
