Jeonnam Police Hold Memorial Ceremony for Fallen Officers of Taeansa Operation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency announced on the 6th that it held the '71st Anniversary Taeansa Operation Fallen Police Officers Memorial Ceremony' at the Taeansa Police Memorial Tower, attended by about 20 people including bereaved families of fallen police officers.
The memorial ceremony was conducted in a solemn atmosphere with the order of the national ceremony, progress report, flower offering, and incense burning to comfort the spirits of the deceased.

The Taeansa Operation Fallen Police Officers Memorial Ceremony is held annually on August 6th to honor the spirits of 48 police officers who died in battle against North Korean troops in the Taeansa area of Gokseong in 1950 to defend the Gokseong region.
