[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 6th that it will sell room packages for the Grand Hyatt Jeju within the Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort through Hyundai Home Shopping for 70 minutes starting at 9:35 PM on the 8th.
This product is designed for the late vacationers, or "neukkangseu" (late vacance) crowd, allowing use from September 1, after the peak season. In particular, it is prepared so guests can enjoy a relaxing hotel staycation even during the Chuseok golden holiday period (September 17?25).
The price is 360,000 KRW per night on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) during the off-peak season (420,000 KRW on Fridays and Saturdays), and 680,000 KRW for a 2-night weekday stay (Sunday to Wednesday) (740,000 KRW on Thursdays and Saturdays, 800,000 KRW on Fridays). During peak seasons (September 17?25, October 1?3, October 8?10), an additional 60,000 KRW per night is charged. The stay period is from September 1 to December 1. All prices include taxes and service charges.
The package includes a spacious 65㎡ (about 20 pyeong) room with an open view of Jeju’s city center, sea, and Hallasan Mountain, and a dinner set (worth about 100,000 KRW for two people, once per stay) at one of three popular restaurants (choose one from Italian restaurant Cafe8, Sichuan hotpot specialty Jeju Hotpot, or Korean restaurant Noknamu). Breakfast (worth about 96,000 KRW for two people, once per night) is also provided at one of the International Buffet Grand Kitchen, Cafe8, or Noknamu.
The international buffet restaurant "Grand Kitchen" features an open dynamic kitchen concept and offers breakfast including egg dishes and salads made with Jeju ingredients, freshly squeezed juices, and Jeju pork belly carving service.
The Italian restaurant "Cafe8" boasts a panoramic view through its front glass windows overlooking the 8th-floor outdoor pool deck. Breakfast is served buffet-style with a variety of Italian-style dishes. The dinner set includes appetizers such as calamari and chicken salad, and guests can choose one pasta (vongole, carbonara, Bolognese, etc.) and one pizza (salami, prosciutto mushroom, etc.) to enjoy.
The Korean restaurant "Noknamu" offers a Jeju-style breakfast table featuring dishes such as dombe meat, grilled or braised hairtail fish, grilled or braised mackerel, sea urchin seaweed soup, abalone porridge, seafood soybean paste stew, special short rib soup, and beef hangover soup. The dinner set features a Jeju pork assorted grill as the main dish, accompanied by kimchi stew, cabbage hangover soup, soybean paste stew, bibimbap, and cold noodles.
The Sichuan-style hotpot (shabu-shabu) specialty "Jeju Hotpot" uses 100% local Jeju ingredients except for spices imported directly from China. The dinner set allows guests to enjoy Sichuan-style red broth or pork bone-based white broth with assorted meats, seafood balls, various vegetables and mushrooms, assorted noodles, and homemade sauces.
Additionally, guests can use the 8th-floor outdoor pool deck, 6th-floor indoor swimming pool, and fitness center free of charge. A 20% discount coupon for the bakery shop "Deli," famous for its Dolharubang chocolates, and a 10% discount coupon for the K-fashion specialty shopping mall HAN Collection located on the 3rd and 4th floors are also provided.
For 2-night reservations, an additional popup combo set (worth about 21,000 KRW) consisting of two draft beers (can be changed to soft drinks), cheddar cheese fries, and fried chicken wings is provided at the popup plaza on the 3rd floor.
An event is also prepared where five live broadcast customers will be upgraded to a corner suite (130㎡, worth about 700,000 to 800,000 KRW).
