[Daily Fund Trends] 500 Billion KRW Net Outflow from Korean Bond Funds in One Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] In the domestic bond fund market, funds amounting to 500 billion KRW flowed out in just one day.
According to the Korea Financial Investment Association on the 6th, as of the 4th, 496.4 billion KRW exited domestic bond funds excluding exchange-traded funds (ETFs). While approximately 900 billion KRW had flowed in over the past three trading days, 500 billion KRW flowed out in just one day. Overseas bond funds saw an outflow of 200 million KRW.

Domestic equity funds experienced a net outflow of 35.4 billion KRW in one day. Over four trading days, a total of 150.4 billion KRW exited. Overseas equity funds saw an inflow of 20 billion KRW. Money Market Funds (MMFs), a short-term capital parking place, recorded a net inflow of 3.3361 trillion KRW in one day. The MMF subscription amount was 181.6273 trillion KRW, and the total net assets were 182.2151 trillion KRW.
