On the 5th, marking 100 days since his inauguration, Kim Ki-hyun held a press conference and stated, "This is not a matter of women versus men, but rather about creating a country where all citizens can live well, a country where people want to marry, and an environment where they can have and raise children." He added, "I have several policy ideas to consider for the care of young women."
He continued, "While preparing the pledges for next year's presidential election, we are gathering various opinions through the Policy Committee, and there are pledges concerning young women. In particular, I thought special support measures are necessary for those at the stage of having and raising children, and that such measures would help achieve a balance between work and family," he emphasized.
