KCC Selects Interview Candidates for KBS and Broadcasting Culture Promotion Foundation Board Member Recruitment
62 Interviewees Selected from 77 Applicants
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The Korea Communications Commission announced on the 4th that at the 31st plenary meeting, it decided to select 40 and 22 candidates for interviews from among the applicants for directors of the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) and the Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency, respectively.
As a result of the open recruitment for KBS directors and Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency directors conducted by the KCC for two weeks starting from the 7th of last month, 55 applicants applied for KBS director positions, and 22 applied for Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency director positions.
The interview candidates were determined through document screening, disqualification checks, public opinion collection, and discussions among standing commissioners regarding the applicants.

The interviews for KBS and Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency directors are scheduled to be conducted in August according to the appointment schedule.
