Mokpo Coast Guard Urgently Transfers Nonagenarian Emergency Patient from Island Village

According to the maritime police, at around 10:11 a.m. on the 3rd, a report was received that Ms. A (female, in her 90s) in Jodo, Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, showed symptoms of high blood pressure and needed hospital treatment.
The maritime police dispatched a coastal patrol boat from the police substation and, after boarding the patient and guardian at 10:36 a.m., began urgent transport. After 21 minutes, at 10:57 a.m., they safely handed over the patient to the 119 ambulance team waiting at Seomang Port, Jindo-gun.
Thanks to the maritime police's assistance, the emergency patient Ms. A was transferred to a large hospital in Mokpo and is currently receiving treatment.
