Yeongam-gun established its own implementation plan tailored to the conditions of each eup and myeon for prompt payment, designating application days for each village during the concentrated application period. In Samho-eup, counters are operated not only on weekday nights but also on weekends for residents who find it difficult to visit during working hours.
Additionally, eup and myeon offices have prepared separate locations from their offices, and as a principle, visits by household heads are required. They are making special efforts to comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines such as temperature checks, hand sanitization, and social distancing.
The county is actively administering a visiting application service for socially vulnerable groups such as elderly single households and those with mobility difficulties who find it hard to apply in person, ensuring no inconvenience to residents.
A county official stated, “We appreciate the active cooperation of residents in following quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and we expect this project to bring great vitality to the local economy through household stability.”
