80,000 Won Support for Taxi Drivers with Income Decrease Due to COVID-19
Government subsidies of 800,000 KRW per person will be provided to taxi corporation drivers whose income has decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 2nd that the "4th Temporary Support Project for General Taxi Drivers" will begin on the 3rd. This project is included in the government's 5th disaster relief fund and targets approximately 80,000 taxi corporation drivers affected by COVID-19. On this day, taxis are waiting for passengers at the taxi stand in front of Seoul Station.
