Plans to Continuously Establish Win-Win Programs for Partner Capability Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hyundai Engineering and the Korea Venture Business Association are providing opportunities for win-win cooperation between startups with innovative technologies in the 4th Industrial Revolution era and partner companies.
Hyundai Engineering announced on the 3rd that it has prepared a 'Partner-Startup Collaboration Program' to help partner companies discover new growth engines by strengthening their technological capabilities through technology partnerships with startups, and is recruiting participating startups until the 20th.
Hyundai Engineering surveys the technology partnership demands of partner companies and provides the list of participating partners to the Korea Venture Business Association, which then invites startups wishing to participate in the program, ultimately promoting technology partnerships between partners and startups.
The innovative technologies solicited through this program by Hyundai Engineering and the Korea Venture Business Association cover 11 construction and engineering fields including BIM, virtual/augmented reality, modularization, 3D printing, big data, and AI, with matching made according to the collaboration interests of partners and startups.
New technologies developed through technology partnerships between partners and startups will be reviewed for business feasibility by Hyundai Engineering and provided opportunities to be applied to projects currently undertaken by Hyundai Engineering in the future.
