Gwangju City Health and Environment Research Institute Joins 'Love Blood Donation Campaign'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Health and Environment Research Institute participated in the 'Love Blood Donation Campaign.'
The Gwangju Health and Environment Research Institute announced on the 2nd that it conducted a group blood donation on the Gwangju-Jeonnam blood donation bus in front of the new office building in Yuchon-dong on the 30th of last month.
This blood donation was carried out through the voluntary participation of employees to overcome the blood supply shortage and save precious lives, as nationwide blood stock levels have fallen below the appropriate amount due to a sharp decline in group blood donations caused by the escalation of social distancing measures amid the spread of COVID-19.
The event was conducted with strict adherence to quarantine rules, including disinfecting the blood donation bus and personal hygiene management for donors, paying thorough attention to preventing infectious diseases.
