Jeonbuk Province Conducts Mobile Assistive Device Inspection Service for People with Disabilities
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Province announced on the 2nd that it plans to carry out the second half of the year mobile assistive device inspection project for the disabled targeting Jangsu, Gunsan, and Jeonju areas until October.
This project involves checking the overall condition of wheelchairs, such as battery abnormalities and tire air pressure of assistive mobility devices including manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, and electric scooters to ensure safe mobility for the disabled.
Prior registration is required to receive the assistive device inspection, and for registration and related inquiries, contact the Jeollabuk-do Assistive Device Center.
Meanwhile, assistive devices refer to 34 types of various machines, tools, and equipment used to improve and supplement the physical and mental functions of the disabled and to assist with daily activities.
